Can I use Bum Bum Body Scrub on my face?
Our products were specifically created for the body, so we didn't test for use on the face. Facial skin tends to be more sensitive, so products that don’t bother the skin on your body might cause a reaction when used on the face.

When will I see results after using Bum Bum Body Scrub?

I noticed my scrub was really firm when I received it but it softened up over the next few days (or vice versa). What does that mean?
We love this formula because it has just the right amount of coconut oil to leave skin soft and nourished post-shower. Like many coconut oils, our virgin, pure pressed coconut oil solidifies at room temperature and liquefies with warmer temperatures, so depending on climate conditions or bathroom temperatures, your scrub could be softer or firmer. This does not affect performance or product quality.
Can Bum Bum Body Scrub also help with strawberry skin?
Exfoliating and moisturizing are extremely important for strawberry skin. Bum Bum Body Scrub is PERFECT and we recommend following up with Bum Bum Cream after the shower or bath.
Is Bum Bum Body Scrub ocean safe?
Yes, our scrub is reef safe as it doesn't contain microplastics (microbeads), which can be harmful to ocean and aquatic life.
Can the Bum Bum Body Scrub be used on sensitive skin or eczema?
Our formula was not tested specifically for sensitive skin, so we always recommend doing a patch test or consult with a physician before use.
Does Bum Bum Body Scrub contain glitter?
No, we do not use glitter. We use a synthetic version of the mineral mica that is derived from naturally occuring ingredients.
Do you use microbeads in your scrub?
No, our scrub is formulated without plastic microbeads. We care about the environment and what we put on our bodies so we don’t use plastic microbeads of any kind. We use a Brazilian body-smoothing blend of crushed cupuaçu seeds, sugar crystals, caffeine-rich guaraná, and the softest touch of shimmer.
